BACTERIAL GREASE-TRAP AND DRAIN CLEANER
|
Fewer grease trap pump-outs |
Saves operating costs |
Degrades solidified fats etc. |
Cuts out odours |
Safe to use; harmless bacteria |
Fast removal of fat |
Continuing biodegradation |
No damaging toxic effect |
Hegtrap.400 contains a unique and synergistic blend of harmless
naturally occurring bacteria which digest kitchen fats and greases,
starches, cellulose, carbohydrates and oils at a fast rate. The Hegtrap.400
liquid solution promotes rapid bacterial growth so that the bacteria
may more quickly break the fats and greases down into harmless by-products.
Alternative harsh chemicals such as bleach or surfactants either kill
fat-degrading bacteria already in place, or form a toxic effluent
or merely dissolve grease temporarily so that it is re-deposited further
on in the system. Hegtrap.400 is harmless and, because the bacteria
are constantly generating their own enzymes, brings about continuing
removal and final degradation of solidified fats and greases.
BENEFITS
- Powerful and safe removal of solidified fats
- Non-toxic, so no problems with foul drain discharges
- Biodegrades dissolved solidified fats etc. rather than moving
them from one point to another
- Reduced frequency of costly and unpleasant grease trap pump-out
- Prevents drain line blockage and overflows
- Major saving in costs and staff time; improved public hygiene
- Easy and safe to use; no cumbersome precautions necessary
- Unlike non-reproducing enzyme products, Hegtrap's bacteria double
in number every 20 minutes.
- Bacterial blend ensures biodegradation in aerobic and non-aerobic
conditions
- Cuts drain and sewer odours
- Long shelf life and very economical through dilution in large
volumes of water before use.
APPLICATIONS
- Hotel and restaurant grease traps and lavatory drains
- Restaurants, offices, kitchens, catering and residential institutions
- Kitchen drains in domestic households
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
A 400 c.c. bottle of Hegtrap.400 contains all the bacteria needed
for a total mixture with water of 200 litres. Mix all the bacterial
liquid in a 208 litre drum, or part of it in smaller quantities pro
rata.
- Amount and frequency of dosage depends on:
-
- size of grease trap
- intensity of original blockage
- intensity of throughput and grease loading
- oncentration of bactericidal products - e.g. bleach
