BACTERIAL GREASE-TRAP, SEPTIC TANK AND DRAIN
CLEANER
|
Fewer grease trap pump-outs |
Saves operating costs |
Septic tanks & drains |
Cuts out odours |
Safe to use; harmless bacteria |
Fast removal of wastes |
Continuing biodegradation |
No damaging toxic effect |
Hegtabs are tablets of several synergistic species
of bacteria in spore form. On introduction into the liquid medium
of grease traps & drains etc. the bacteria release themselves over
a period of time and then re-hydrate, multiply and feed upon and biodegrade
grease, fats, and animal wastes. The bacteria are all category 1 non-pathogens
and non-phytotoxic. The Hegtabs achieve rapid bacterial growth so
that the bacteria may more quickly break down wastes, fats and greases
into harmless by-products. Because the bacteria in Hegtab are constantly
generating their own enzymes, they bring about continuing removal
and final degradation of solidified fats and greases.
BENEFITS
* Powerful and safe removal of solidified fats and wastes
* Reduced pumping or costly manual intervention
* Non-toxic, so no problems with foul drain discharges * Biodegrades
solidified fats etc. rather than moving them from one point to another
* Prevents drain line blockage and overflows
* Major saving in costs and staff time; improved public hygiene
* Easy and safe to use; no cumbersome precautions necessary
* Unlike non-reproducing enzyme products, Hegtrap's bacteria double
in number every 20 minutes.
* Bacterial blend ensures biodegradation in aerobic and non-aerobic
conditions
* Cuts drain and sewer odours
* Long shelf life and very economical through dilution in large
volumes of water before use.
APPLICATIONS
Hotel and restaurant grease traps and lavatory drains
Restaurants, offices, kitchens, catering and residential institutions
Kitchen drains in domestic households
Lavatories and septic tanks
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Each tablet weighs 150 gm and needs to be kept in the liquid part
of the tank or waste to be treated. Amount and frequency of dosage
depends on:
* size of grease trap or septic tank
* intensity of original blockage
* intensity of throughput and grease or waste loading 0
* concentration of bactericidal products - e.g. bleach

For treatment of drains, one Hegtab should be placed in each drain
and replaced when it is dissolved.
