Removes paints, inks Removes adhesives Biodegradable; safe Low volatility Environmentally friendly No petroleum distillate Cuts environmental impacts Essentially non-toxic Hegstrip consists of heavy-duty, but biodegradable and environmentally-friendly, solvents & surfactants. It is used as a safer and effective alternative to conventional but toxic and environmentally damaging solvents. With some exceptions depending on the coating and the surface in question, Hegstrip can remove most dried paints, cured adhesives, graffiti and permanent markers.

- Meets criteria in US Presidential Order 13101 guiding US Federal Agencies to give preference to the purchase of products which pose fewer burdens on the environment
- Supported by the US Department of Agriculture
- Acceptable as a paint remover in non-food processing areas of official establishments operating under the US Federal Meat and Poultry Products Inspection Programme
APPLICATIONS
Hegstrip is used neat.
May be used on plastic (not on ABS), plexiglass, lexan, tiles, metals, rock vinyl, limestone, brick, marble, quartz, painted metal (e.g. automobiles, railway carriages) concrete and wood.
With some exceptions in the case of extremely resistant coatings, removes most panel adhesives, contact cement, label adhesives, automotive interweld, expanding foam sealant, varnish, permanent marker, paint, wood stain, nail polish and ink.
Automotive industry; cleaning of smooth surfaces: Apply by cloth or spray, work in, wipe off with wet cloth
Plexiglas: Apply by spray or cloth, work in, wipe with dry cloth
Cleansing of porous surfaces (graffiti removal): Spray on, agitate with brush to enable Hegstrip to penetrate surface; rinse off
